The 4-star Schlosshotel created a realm of relaxation, water and sauna varieties to pamper its guests on a top level. It's all about wellness: castle pond, indoor pool, steam bath, infrared cabin, sanarium, sun bench/turbo tanner and two themed saunas, new relaxation room as well as a range of calming massage treatments. Access to the entire sauna and relax area is permitted to adults and teens from age 16 .
The castle pond is fed from high moor water. High moors have their specific water balance which is strongly acidic, low in nutrients and oxygen. Known primarily for its use in bathing treatments, the water has also strengthening, pain soothing and blood promoting properties. Today, moor is considered a highly compatible health care remedy boosting blood circulation and the healing process. In addition, the pond is ideal for Kneipp therapies following a morning walk. Parents are held liable for their children.
The beneficial warmth of the generously sized indoor pool makes a popular meeting place for young and old all day round. Due to the soft, HESU (short for sky, earth, sun and universe in German) energized water, less chemicals are required, which is particularly pleasant for the locomotor system. Time and again guests stress that Schlosshotel Seewirt is the right hotel for sauna worshippers. And indeed, ranging from the unique “Schwitzkasten“ made of centuries old stone pine wood, infrared cabin to Finnish sauna (70 to approx. 90° C), a variety of facilities ensure health-promoting and relaxed sweating.
The saunas are open daily from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m or earlier in case of bad weather.
